I’m Jason Omoto, M.S., BCBA – a dedicated father of two, husband, and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 20 years of experience helping children and families thrive. My journey in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) has allowed me to assist hundreds of families in areas like toilet training, speech and language development, sleep training, social skills, managing problem behaviors, and navigating school challenges.

My Experience and Journey

I began my career as a behavior technician and later became a teacher at a specialized non-public school for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Sacramento, California. There, I led a team of technicians, developed individualized behavior management plans, and set personalized goals for each student.

My passion for helping children then brought me to San Diego, where I joined one of the leading in-home ABA therapy companies. As a therapist, I worked with children at-risk or diagnosed with ASD, and eventually, I advanced to Senior Program Supervisor. In this role, I was responsible for parent training, creating personalized lessons for clients, mentoring junior supervisors, and overseeing a team of dedicated therapists.

In addition to my professional work, I’ve coached youth sports, including soccer and baseball, for over a decade. I love teaching and coaching, and I incorporate the science of ABA into all my lessons and practices. I also teach parenting classes for a school district here in San Diego at an adult education school.

The Birth of Omoto ABA Consulting

After 17 fulfilling years at my previous company, I decided to follow my passion for parent training and launched Omoto ABA Consulting (OAC). OAC was created to provide families with tailored support, free from the limitations often imposed by insurance companies. My goal is to help you focus on what truly matters for your child's development and success.

During our consultations, you are in total control of what you want to accomplish. I’m here to provide clinical support and guidance, equipping you with the tools to meet your own self-made goals for your child. While I’m a child and parent expert, no one knows your family better than you do!
